WR Jamaar Taylor Retires?: KFFL.com is reporting that WR Jamaar Taylor has retired from the NFL, according to Savage Sports Management. Taylor tore an ACL in his knee during his senior season of college in October 2003 and has proven to be injury-prone since being drafted by the Giants in the 6th round of the 2004 NFL Draft. In 2004 with the Giants, Taylor finished the season with six catches in eight games as he experienced hamstring and quad injuries supposedly related to his original knee injury. In 2005, Taylor played in only five games (and had no receptions) as he was bothered by a hip flexor in training camp and then groin and knee problems during the regular season that caused him to be placed on Injured Reserve.

New York Giants and Shaun O’Hara Working on New Contract: The Sporting News is reporting that the Giants and OC Shaun O’Hara, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent next offseason, are currently negotiating a new contract and could have one finalized before training camp starts.

LB Jay Foreman Signs with the Saints: Unrestricted free agent LB Jay Foreman, who the Giants had no interest in re-signing, has signed with the New Orleans Saints.
