September 15, 2010 New York Giants Injury Report: Not practicing yesterday were TE Kevin Boss (concussion), WR Hakeem Nicks (ankle), DE Osi Umenyiora (knee), LB Chase Blackburn (knee), LB Phillip Dillard (hamstring), OT Will Beatty (foot), CB Bruce Johnson (knee), and S Michael Johnson (unspecified – not injury related).
Boss has already been ruled out of the game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night.
“My ankle is doing good,” said Nicks. “I rolled it in the second quarter of the game and it’s a little sore so I’m going to stay off it for today…(Practicing on Thursday) depends on how it feels when I get in in the morning. We’ll make that decision.”
“Just wear and tear,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin regarding Umenyiora.
“(Blackburn) is going to be day to day but he is not working today,” said Coughlin.
Beatty will undergo surgery today to repair a broken bone in his foot. The Giants said they will then have a better idea how long Beatty will be sidelined.
CB Aaron Ross (foot) and LB Gerris Wilkinson (groin) practiced fully.
Giants Add Offensive Lineman to the Practice Squad: The Giants have signed OL Dennis Landolt to the Practice Squad. Landolt is an undrafted rookie free agent who was with the Giants in the preseason and was among the final cuts.

Notes: LB Bryan Kehl, who was waived by the Giants on Tuesday, was claimed off of waivers by the St. Louis Rams.
HB Andre Brown, who the Giants cut in their final round of cuts and who was then claimed off of waivers by the Broncos, has been waived by Denver.
With Will Beatty out, Shawn Andrews has been practicing at left and right tackle.
