January 6, 2012 New York Giants Injury Report – Tuck Misses Practice: DE Justin Tuck (shoulder) and LB Mark Herzlich (ankle) did not practice yesterday. Tuck has been officially ruled “probable” for the game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday; Herzlich will not play.

“(Tuck) was just sore,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “I don’t think (it will be an issue on Sunday).”

Tuck would not comment on the injury.

HB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), HB Da’Rel Scott (knee), TE Jake Ballard (knee), OT Tony Ugoh (ankle), DE Osi Umenyiora (ankle/knee), and CB Corey Webster (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis. All are “probable” for the game.

“(Ballard) seemed to have ended on an up note,” said Coughlin. “He moved well today so I am very optimistic about that.”

“I feel pretty good,” Ballard said. “The first day (Wednesday) I got limited reps. I got more reps on Thursday and felt pretty good. Today, I took pretty much all of the snaps and felt great. I feel comfortable and optimistic about playing in the game.”

“(Webster) was fine today,” said Coughlin.
