Michael Clayton to Injured Reserve; Trattou Added to 53-Man Roster: The Giants placed WR Michael Clayton on Injured Reserve yesterday with torn meniscus cartilage in his knee. Clayton will undergo surgery on Monday to repair the damage. The injury reportedly occurred in practice yesterday.

To fill Clayton’s roster spot, the Giants added DE Justin Trattou from the Practice Squad.

To fill Trattou’s spot, the Giants’ re-signed QB Ryan Perrilloux to the Practice Squad.

November 26, 2011 New York Giants Injury Report: Not practicing yesterday were LT Will Beatty (eye/back), HB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), WR Mario Manningham (knee), WR Michael Clayton (knee), LB Michael Boley (hamstring), and S Derrick Martin (hamstring).

Beatty, Bradshaw, and Martin have been officially ruled out of Monday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. Boley is “doubtful.” Manningham and Clayton are “questionable.”

RT Kareem McKenzie (toe) and DE Justin Tuck (ankle/shoulder) practiced on a limited basis. Both are “probable.”

DE Osi Umenyiora (knee) and HB D.J. Ware (concussion) fully practiced. Both are “probable.”
