September 9, 2011 New York Giants Injury Report – Justin Tuck and Travis Beckum Questionable: Not practicing yesterday were DE Osi Umenyiora (knee), LB Jonathan Goff (knee), CB Prince Amukamara (foot), WR Ramses Barden (PUP – ankle), and OC Adam Koets (PUP – knee). All five of these players will not play against the Redskins; Goff, in fact, is out for the season even though he has not yet officially been placed on Injured Reserve.

DE Justin Tuck (stinger) returned to practice on a limited basis. He is officially listed as “questionable” for the game on Sunday.

“I’m hopeful,” Tuck said. “We’ll see what happens.”

“Tuck practiced limited but he practiced,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “He moved around pretty good so we will see…We were in shells so it was a lot of hand to hand contact but that was about it. He did go out and he did practice and he did run around. He took his snaps.”

H-Back Travis Beckum left practice early with a tight hamstring. “Do I think it’s pulled? No, But there’s something there,” Beckum said. “And with a hamstring, if you feel something, you don’t want to push it because you don’t want to make something small into something big.”
