Jonathan Goff Lost for the Season: The Giants have lost starting middle linebacker Jonathan Goff for the season with a torn ACL in his right knee. He reportedly suffered the injury in practice on Monday.

Goff is the sixth defensive player on the Giants to suffer a season-ending injury before the games even count. Already lost include CB Terrell Thomas (ACL tear), DT Marvin Austin (pectoral muscle tear), LB Clint Sintim (ACL/patella tear), CB Bruce Johnson (ruptured Achilles), and CB Brian Witherspoon (ACL tear).

The press is reporting that the Giants will workout unrestricted free agent and former Giant Kawika Mitchell among others as a possible replacement for Goff.

Giants Add Wide Receiver to Practice Squad: The Giants have signed WR Dan DePalma to the Practice Squad. DePalma was signed as a rookie free agent by the New York Jets in July. The Jets waived him last Friday.
