Tom Boisture Passes Away: Tom Boisture, who served as the Giants’ Director of Player Personnel and later Vice President of Player Personnel from 1980-2000, passed away yesterday. Boisture was 79 and died of myelofibrosis, a form of leukemia.

“Tom was a great talent evaluator and was an important part of our success in the 1980’s,” said Giants’ President and CEO John Mara. “The players he drafted revitalized our franchise. He was also a wonderful person and we will miss him dearly.”
