September 17, 2010 New York Giants Injury Report – Umenyiora and Nicks Game-Time Decisions: Not practicing yesterday were TE Kevin Boss (concussion), LB Chase Blackburn (knee), LB Phillip Dillard (hamstring), and OT Will Beatty (foot). All four will not play against the Colts on Sunday night.

DE Osi Umenyiora (knee) also did not practice and is officially listed as “questionable” for the game against the Colts.

“Osi came out here, he did have some swelling, so we sent him back inside,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin, who indicated Umenyiora would be a game-time decision. The Giants say the knee is not the same he had surgery on in 2008.

WR Hakeem Nicks (ankle) practiced on a limited basis and is listed as “questionable.”

“(Nicks) did better,” said Coughlin. “He ran around and did some things, took some plays – looks like he’s headed in the right direction…I would think (he would be a game-time decision). We’ll see how he is in the morning after he’s done a little bit.”

OC Shaun O’Hara (ankle/Achilles), CB Aaron Ross (foot), CB Bruce Johnson (knee), and LB Gerris Wilkinson (groin) all practiced, though O’Hara only worked on a limited basis. All are listed as “probable” for the game on Sunday night.

“(Ross is) doing better,” said Coughlin. “He did better every day this week and so I think he’s going to be ready.”

“I practiced every day this week, full practice,” said Ross. “My heel felt fine…I practiced hard and it didn’t bother me.”
