Mitch Petrus and Matt Dodge Sign: The Giants announced yesterday that they have signed offensive guard Mitch Petrus, their 5th round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, and punter Matt Dodge, their 7th round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. There is no word yet on the terms of the deals but they are both believed to be 4-year contracts.
The Giants have two remaining unsigned draft picks: DE Jason Pierre-Paul (1st round) and DT Linval Joseph (2nd round). Aside from Petrus and Dodge, the team has signed S Chad Jones (3rd round), LB Phillip Dillard (4th round), and LB Adrian Tracy (6th round).
Giants Claim Wide Receiver Off of Waivers: The Giants claimed WR/Returner Chris Davis off of waivers yesterday. Davis had been waived by the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday. He was originally drafted in the 4th round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans.
