December 19, 2009 New York Giants Injury Report – Aaron Ross Returns to Practice: CB Corey Webster (knee) and RT Kareem McKenzie (knee) did not practice yesterday. Both are officially listed as “doubtful” for the Monday night game against the Redskins.

Webster thinks he still might play. “I’ve sat out (a week of practice) and played the game on Sunday,” Webster said. “We’re familiar with the team, because we play them twice a year. It feels a lot better, a lot of the swelling is gone. We have an extra day, so we’ll see. We have to go out there and test it (before the game) to see where we stand.”

CB/S Aaron Ross (hamstring) and HB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle/ankle/foot) practiced on a limited basis. Ross is “questionable” for the game while Bradshaw is “probable.” An MRI on Ross’ hamstring showed no damage.

“(Ross) did a little something today (in practice), yeah,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “He was limited, but he did some things…he’s got a hamstring strain.”

“It was just a little tightness in the hamstring,” Ross said. “Having a hamstring injury since the beginning of the season, any little tightness scares me a little bit. So I told the coaches, I told the medical staff and they made the decision to sit me out (of practice on Friday)…It started from last week, and the tightness didn’t go away, especially after playing in the game. So coach gave me a day off to get my leg back under me, and it helped.”

QB Eli Manning (foot) practiced fully and is “probable.”
