November 4, 2009 New York Giants Injury Report: Not practicing yesterday were HB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle/foot) and CB Aaron Ross (hamstring).

Ross says he has targeted the first game after the bye as his return to the playing field. “That’s the goal I am setting,” Ross said. “It feels good. I am running, cutting, jumping. Doing everything I need to be doing, I just need to have someone in front of me to see how it is.”

TE Kevin Boss (ankle), WR Mario Manningham (shoulder), WR Sinorice Moss (foot),  LB Michael Boley (knee) and DT Chris Canty (calf) practiced on a limited basis.

Canty sounded more optimistic about playing this weekend than Boley did. “I’m anticipating playing this weekend but it’s up to the coaches and training staff,” Canty said.

“I don’t know yet,” said Boley about playing against the Chargers. “One day at a time this week. If I’m able to play, they’ll let me know. It’ll all boil down to how I feel at the end of the week and how much I can be productive. If I felt I couldn’t help the team, it’d be a no-brainer (to wait).”
