December 15, 2008 New York Giants Injury Report: In addition to HB Brandon Jacobs (knee), DT Fred Robbins, and LB Jonathan Goff (hamstring) not playing against the Cowboys, the following Giants left the game with injuries:

RT Kareem McKenzie (back), LG Rich Seubert (illness), S Kenny Phillips (head), WR Sinorice Moss (calf), HB Reuben Droughns (burner), and LB Gerris Wilkinson (knee).

“Richie (Seubert) is going to recover and feel better, without a doubt,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “He felt a little bit better this (Monday) afternoon. But he was sent right home to kind of get back in the sack. So I would expect that by Wednesday he should be feeling pretty good. Kareem (McKenzie) is getting all of the tests done today (on Monday). And we will see where he stands as we get ready to go back to practice.”

“We’ll see (on Jacobs),” said Coughlin. “We’ll see how he feels and how the people in the medical area feel about his progress… I don’t know (if he will practice on Wednesday) yet.”

“Moss did strain a calf,” said Coughlin. “Kenny (Phillips) had a mild concussion. I think he banged his head on the turf. He is much better today (on Monday)…I  think we will have Kenny for sure (by Wednesday). I don’t know about Sinorice.”

“We won’t have (Droughns and Wilkinson) guys Wednesday,” said Coughlin. “I think it is an MCL with Gerris, but we are going to have to wait and see. I don’t have all of that information…(Droughns) had a burner so they thought they had to hold him.”

Notes and Quotes: The game against the Cowboys on Sunday was the last the Giants will play at Texas Stadium as the Cowboys will be moving into their new stadium next season. Lifetime, the Giants were 11-25 in the regular season at Texas Stadium, 1-0 in the post-season.

General Manager Jerry Reese on the New York Giants: “You might find this hard to believe, but I’m not worried at all. I know what this team is made of. Plaxico is out. Brandon Jacobs is out. Of course, you feel the effects of that and recognize there are some things we need to get together. But we’re still sitting here 11-3, in first place, ticked off that we’ve lost these games and hell-bent on doing something about it. This team has tremendous resolve. We will respond because we always do. That’s our makeup. It’s what we’ve been about. So don’t expect any changes in that regard.”
