New York Giants 2007 Awards: At the Giants’ annual kickoff luncheon, the team honored the following players for their performance in the 2007 NFL season:
- Team MVP: QB Eli Manning
- Defensive Player of the Year: DE Osi Umenyiora and LB Antonio Pierce
- Offensive Player of the Year: WR Plaxico Burress and the starting offensive line (LT David Diehl, LG Rich Seubert, OC Shaun O’Hara, RG Chris Snee, RT Kareem McKenzie)
- Rookie of Year: Entire 2007 draft class (CB Aaron Ross, WR Steve Smith, DT Jay Alford, LB Zak DeOssie, TE Kevin Boss, OT Adam Koets, S Michael Johnson, and HB Ahmad Bradshaw) and rookie free agent TE Michael Matthews
- Special Teams Player of the Year: LB Chase Blackburn
