New Deal for Tom Coughlin Expected Soon:  According to The Bergen Record, the basics of a 4-year, $20 million contract extension for Head Coach Tom Coughlin have been agreed to.  The paper says the reason that the deal has not been officially finalized yet is that Giants’ President and CEO John Mara has been kept busy with League matters as a member of the NFL’s Competition Committee.

“It’s a matter of when, not if,” said Mara.
