Giants Re-Sign Three Exclusive Rights Free Agents:  According to NFLPA.org, the Giants have re-signed DE Dave Tollefson (1-year, $370,000), WR Michael Jennings (1-year, $370,000), and FB Robert Douglas (1-year, $370,000).  If tendered, all three were set to be Exclusive Rights Free Agents next month when free agency starts.

Amani Toomer Not Ready to Retire:  WR Amani Toomer, who turns 34 in September, told Newsday that he has no intention of retiring.  “I haven’t thought about retiring at all,” said Toomer on Thursday.  “There are still some things I want to accomplish.”

“It’s hard to really say what I want for myself,” said Toomer.  “All I know is there’s a lot of stuff I still want to do in the NFL, a lot I want to strive for.  Winning is amazing, there’s been nothing like it for me.  I’m definitely not ready to give all this up.”

“You usually end the season thinking about what else you could have done,” said Toomer.  “Even this year, when we finished on top, I still think we could’ve played better, a lot better in some games.  We gave a few games away this season.”

Toomer will be in the last year of his current contract in 2008.  He is due to earn $3.1 million in salary, and according to Newsday, Toomer has a $500,000 roster bonus due in March.  Newsday is also reporting that the Giants and Toomer’s agent have had no discussions about a new contract and that Toomer is not interested in negotiating a new deal at this time.
