New York Giants May Wear Red Jerseys Again This Season:  The Daily News Giants’ blog is reporting that the Giants are tentatively planning to wear their red alternative jerseys again this season, this time against the Washington Redskins at home on December 16th.  The Giants are 1-3 in the red jerseys.

Notes:  QB Eli Manning started his 48th game last Sunday against the Cowboys.  Manning is 26-22, the same record his brother Peyton had after his 48th start.  Manning is 14-11 at home and 12-11 on the road.  Manning is 11-1 in October, 3-8 in November, and 6-8 in December.

Manning’s favorite targets in his career have been TE Jeremy Shockey (192 catches), WR Plaxico Burress (180 catches), and WR Amani Toomer (136 catches).  Manning has thrown 25 touchdown passes to Burress, 19 to Shockey, and 12 to Toomer in his career.

The Giants lead the NFL with 32 sacks.

The Giants have allowed only two opposing receivers to gain 100 yards this season.  Both of them are Cowboys – TE Jason Witten with 116 yards in Week 1 and WR Terrell Owens with 125 yards last Sunday.
