New York Giants Make Roster Moves: To make room for LB Chris Claiborne, who the Giants signed on Monday, the team waived rookie OT Na’Shan Goddard yesterday.
The Giants also waived CB Dennis Davis from the Practice Squad. Davis had been added to the Practice Squad last week when DE Adrian Awasom was signed to the active roster.
To fill Davis’ spot on the Practice Squad, the Giants have signed OC Todd Londot, who was with the Giants in training camp as a rookie free agent.
Notes: Former Giants’ cornerback Will Peterson, who was waived this past offseason, has signed a 1-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. Oddly, Peterson has now changed his last name to James.
