All of the New York Giants 2006 Draft Picks Signed: All of the Giants’ 2006 draft picks have either signed or agreed to terms with the team. All players are scheduled to report today for the start of training camp in Albany, New York. Newsday and The Journal News are reporting that DE Mathias Kiwanuka (1st round) agreed last night to sign a 5-year, $6.96 million contract that includes $5 million in guaranteed money.

According to various press reports, LB Gerris Wilkinson (3rd round) signed a 4-year, $2.2 million contract. The Bergen Record and Daily News say LT Guy Whimper (4th round) has agreed to terms and The New York Post reports that CB Gerrick McPhearson (7th round) is also in the fold.

As reported earlier, DT Barry Colfield (another 4th rounder) signed last week and WR Sinorice Moss (2nd round) and S/CB Charlie Peprah (5th round) agreed to terms on Tuesday.

July 26, 2006 New York Giants Injury Update: At yesterday’s pre-camp press conference, Head Coach Tom Coughlin made the following statement when asked if any players will be limited or restricted when the practices start on Friday: “There’ll be some, there will be a few at the beginning. I think we may have to restrict those guys who are coming off of some knee surgeries – you know who they are as well as I do. There may be, (OG/OT) Lewis Kelly had the sprained foot right at the end of our spring work, so he’s going to be limited. I think (WR Tim) Carter, (TE) Vinsanthe (Shiancoe), may have some tendonitis that we may have to be concerned about right away. (LB) LaVar Arrington has some tendonitis and an Achilles, so we may have to make sure he’s ready to go twice. Hopefully that’s it.”
